print03Fiesta Colorado Dance Company started in 1972 by the Trujillo family, natives of Colorado. Jeanette and her brother Monty took the idea under their wings and with their teaching skills formed the performing dance company which is now known as Fiesta Colorado. It received its non-profit designation as a (501) (c)(3) arts organization in 1997.

From the outset, this Hispanic dance organization has been committed to entertaining, educating and inspiring the communities it serves through the performance of the rich repertoire of dance traditions found in the Mexican and Spanish cultures.
